August 28, 1939 Mr. Frank Lloyd Wright TALIESON Spring Green, Wisconsin My dear Mr. Wright: I have just received your letter. The little tower was merely a temporary affair, but if you do not want us to put it up it is perfectly all right with me. I was interested in having a symbol of peace. If you don't like this one, why don't you draw me one? But it must be very inexpensive, not more than $500.00 or $800.00. I want you to write and tell me what I must do about the coloring. I have $2,000.00 worth of coloring on hand. Will we need it for the flooring, or must I send it back? We are coming along pretty well with the blocks. With best wishes, I am Very cordially yours, LUDD M. SPIVEY President LMS:e
