The date range is based on objects seen in the picture. Straight Shaft Non-Dial Oil-Can Candlestick telephones (seen in picture) were initially manufactured in 1915. Round and oval based rotary dial phones were manufactured in 1924-1930. From picture FCPC 000084l.jpg it appears that this is an earlier model phone and it does not have a rotary dial. Ss rotary dial phones grew in popularity in the 1920's they would have been obligated to upgrade. Hence, this picture could not be older than 1930.
